Chan Wu Gong Fu Academy

Chan Wu Gong Fu Academy is located at the foothills of the Nine Lotus Flower Mountain (Jiu Lian Hua Shan), close to Dengfeng, Henan Province, China. The Academy is situated in a small, traditional village on the outskirts of Deng Feng proper and is easily accessible by taxi, bus and motorcycle taxi.
The small village environment gives you the opportunity to learn and understand Shaolin Gongfu and the culture of the Chinese people as in the old days of the Shaolin Temple. The hills and winding paths around the house provide a challenging morning run, as well as a great place for morning Qi Gong in addition to a place to quietly discover yourself. A 5-minute walk from the Academy there are old mud cave homes, some of which are still occupied today. It is like walking back in time and history.
The Academy specialises in teaching foreign students, but teaches Chinese Students as well. The Academy aims to further the cultural exchange between the people of other countries and China.
Weapons, Hand Forms, Sanda-Fighting arts and Iron Body skills, are apart of our daily training program, which is designed to teachdiscipline and offers the opportunity to learn and understand yourinner-self through intense physical conditioning under traditionalChinese surroundings.Cost per day is 50 yuan which includes a shared room, 3 meals per dayand your daily training. No minimum stay required.
